Glitch move map corruption is a glitch in Pokémon Crystal. It was documented by SloshedMail.
On rare occasions, viewing the type and description box of "-" from the Move Deleter's house in Blackthorn City can place the player in a Glitch City, instead of effects such as freezing the game.
This makes it possible for the player to step out of bounds and access an out of bounds Glitch City.
In order to obtain "-" as the first move, the player can abuse the bad clone glitch or an arbitrary code execution method such as the Coin Case glitch.
If the player has access to a Link Cable they may trade a Pokémon from Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow with 'no' first move via the swapping Transform moves glitch or another glitch such as party remaining HP glitch, arbitrary code execution.
