Unused map

An unused map, not to be confused with a Glitch City is a map in the Pokémon games that is not accessible in the final game.

Perhaps the most well-known example of an unused map in the Pokémon games is the Generation II Safari Zone, but there are many more examples, such as Map 0B in Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow (also a glitch map and a possible placeholder map location) and many glitch maps in the Generation IV core series games.
