Yeah, from how you describe it it seems to be like CoolTrainer's internal name (or other chaotic names). TheZZAZZGlitch talked about that regarding CoolTrainer here, which is to do with the game looking for xth 0x50 character after a certain point, and how this varies a lot based on the RAM and how many 0x50 characters there are in memory.
