If this move hits and a 0x50 sub-tile is present in the saved screen data after opening the items or Pokémon menu (possible with GameShark code 0150A0C3 or OAM DMA hijacking) it will change the user's sprite to a Substitute (but not create an actual Substitute), deal damage and suck half the amount of damage dealt from the opponent.
