The Mew Trick is the first variation of Ditto Trick discovered. In fact, because of this, Mew is often associated with this trick.
First, if you've already beaten the guys circled below, you’ll need to restart your game.  - You must not have beaten any of these guys who are circled.  Then, go in front of the Gambler. You must approach him from in front of the house, then FLY quickly before he sees you.  Then go and battle the boy. Make sure he walks up to you, if you go too close to him, the game will freeze.  Then FLY to Lavender Town.  Press B when the menu pops up.  Then Mew will appear. |
